Black Mask

Black Mask - Black Mask (2012)

Very cool grindy crusty hardcore band from Pennsylvania.
I don't know much about them and honestly don't really care to do the research.

Band Camp.
Get Waste.

Chest Pain

Chest Pain - Chest Pain 7" (2011)

I saw this band play with Iron Lung a couple weeks back. They were really good. Also they played very cool powerviolence from Austin, Texas. The recorded material doesn't quite live up to the unreasonable sounds they were making live, but it's still fun.

You can get this record absolutely free of charge over at their bandcamp page.

No Hope In Here

Bastard - No Hope In Here (2002)

Shame on you if you haven't heard the name of the mighty Bastard, crusty punk unit from the land of the rising sun. Listening to this record is fun, especially if you like yelling MISERREERRUUOOOUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!!!! This is literally every song this group put out, we call it a Discography in the elite music blogging biz.

MISERUUUUUUUUUUUU

Integrity 2000

Integrity - Integrity 2000 (1999)

So many people that love Integrity hate this album. Why? WHY? It's so heavy I can only barely handle it. It crushes my brain and makes all my organs explode out of a cavity in my body of their own devising. This record is merely a gauntlet of irresponsibly heavy riffage that you will not survive.

YOU WILL DIE IF YOU LISTEN TO THIS RECORD.

Black Breath

Black Breath - Heavy Breathing (2010)

Black Breath - Razor to Oblivion (2008)

Saw these guys live for the first time last night. AwEsOmE.

Thee DestroyOrr

Integrity - Thee DestroyOrr (2011)

I'm gonna keep the clevo hardcore tip rolling. Maybe I'l post some OLC next (you fruits). I'm still awake for some reason, so here's Thee DestroyOrr. Rob Orr is an amazing guitarist and possibly my favorite to take the six-stringed helm in arguably one of my favorite hardcore bands of all time. This is a genuinely good compilation with some of the most creative guitar work Integrity has ever seen. This comp also includes a 34 minute interview for those that are interested in that sort of thing. For those that aren't, the songs rule!

Charles Manson.

Tribe Called Hardcore

Creepout - Tribe Called Hardcore (2010)

I'm going on vacation to a town I've never spent time in and will never spend time in again. That means I need to listen to Japanese One Life Crew really loud and torture the locals. Get waste. See you dorks later.

Fuck I wish I had an Indians hat/jersey.

"Hey yo, my friend, how's it goin? I know you hate your shitty life, but don't be a fuckin' gay."

In My Head

Black Flag - In My Head (1985)

My brain is in such a weirdo impenetrable fog right now. This about sums it up. I'm out cold, and I'm never comin' to.

nnnnn
Mammoth Grinder/Hatred Surge Split (2011)

An all too short hardcore stomp to be remembered. Some serious riffs in here. Remember when hardcore kids didn't like metal? Yeah me neither.

Split.
Baader Brain - Baader Brains LP

My last post reminded me of this album. Of no relation to the very well known punk/reggae/hardcore group, obviously. This is really hard to explain. Rockin' hardcore punk laden with lots of samples and weird interludes. I've never been able to find much info on these dudes, so feel free to fill me in if you know something. A very interesting listen indeed!

Destroy the United States of America.
Bad Brains - I Against I

I'm a jaded old man. Nothing new is exciting anymore. I've been listening to this, though. My favorite Bad Brains album, a much more interesting sound in my opinion. Get in touch with Jah. He misses you.

Also, I'm loving how the cover art could easily be for a 80's gangster rap group.

Pay 2 Cum.

Iron Lung - Sexless//No Sex

This is the only record I listen to anymore. It's flawless. That's really all I have to say about it. It's also worth noting how many times iron lungs actually come up lyrically, it cracks me up. If you don't already have this album, stop flushing your life down the toilet and spend the rest of it listening to this.

PIG HANDS USE DIRTY TOOLS.
Rats Eyes - Rats Eyes 7"

Hardcore punk band featuring Gabe Serbian of The Locust doing his best Henry Rollins impression. A fairly interesting listen, but I'm more interested in where this will go in the future.

Find your way to the bottom.

Society Nurse - Junk Existence

It's been long enough and supplies of the 7" are low enough now that I can in good conscience post this record. I absolutely love this band, probably my third favorite band in Seattle behind Walls and of course the mighty Iron Lung. Society Nurse plays an ugly brand of hardcore that I find completely refreshing, even though this genre seems to be on the upswing (not that I'm complaining!) This is definitely a recommended listen if you've enjoyed some of the other more visceral hardcore I've been posting lately. Again, this isn't my link as I recently moved and have internet so shitty my own uploads all time out, so let me know if it goes down and I can try to fix it.

They have some new material in the works, so keep your ear to the ground if you enjoy this.

Junk Existence

Total Abuse - Mutt

I love this record. I actually can't believe I never uploaded it. Just gone done blasting it loud as fuck and thought I'd make sure it was on the blog. Total Abuse is a horrible, nasty, disgusting band from Austin that makes gross music. I love it. If you like gross music as much as I do, so will you.

MAKE ME A EUNUCH!
Burning Love - Don't Ever Change

Burning Love - Songs For Burning Lovers

Believe me when I say I know exactly how much weight this description holds: This band sounds like Pissed Jeans if they were a hardcore band fronted by Chris Colohan (of Cursed fame). And I say that because Chris Colohan does actually front this band. Burning Love is going to be the next big thing, get in on the ground floor. I present to you two offerings, the first a two song demo, the second a full length record. Enjoy yourself.

I normally don't say (or type) shit like this, but I cannot recommend this band enough. I was blown away the first time I heard them and I am one jaded motherfucker. DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS.
California Love - Reaping The Whirlwind

I'm listening to this record thinking about how much I hate Ghana right now. A selfish and strictly American endeavour, I know, but I don't care. Cloudy production that definitely holds the material back a bit. Overall, an interesting record as it transitions willy-nilly from blisteringly fast to a slow and tortured crawl. Unlike other California Love efforts, they show you just how slow and nasty they can get, which in my book is a more than welcome demonstration. If you enjoy Mind Eraser you will like this record. If you enjoy Mind Eraser, stop reading my blog.
Gauze are probably my favorite Japanese hardcore band. They originated back in the very early 80's, and according to their biography: "The original plan according to Shin the bass player was to play as fast as possible. They attempted to give the impression of playing fast without actually playing fast.". What this means, if anything, is a mystery to me, but it totally works. Their second album Equalizing Distort (a name I find both nonsensical and tough as fuck at the same time) was released in 1986, check it out.

Gauze - Equalizing Distort

California Love / Gehenna Split

I'll be completely honest. This isn't the best shit of all time, but it's an honest offering and interesting enough to warrant a download. It's just one track from each band, so donate five minutes of your time to being awesome.

Get fucked up.
Limp Wrist - Thee Official Discography

This is one of those records I enjoy more and more as time passes. Real fast hardcore punk with vocals that vaguely remind me of powerviolence. You already know all about Limp Wrist though, right? Right?

I love boys hardcore.
